Randall J. Borgatti Upholstery
About Randall J. Borgatti Upholstery
Randy Borgatti has been the owner and sole proprietor of Randall J. Borgatti Upholstery for more than 30 years. He has worked with top interior designers in Massachusetts, a fine hotel in New York City, elegant hotels in Boston, and for private customers from Beacon Hill to Wellesley to Cape Cod and as far as Florida. Randy even reupholstered furniture for a customer, which was then exhibited in a Russian museum!
In the early years Randy was a Sales Representative for Schumacher Fabrics, and decided to take his love of creating something beautiful with his hands to his father's business. Randy apprenticed at the hands of a master in Boston and worked with his father, finally taking on the business nearly 30 years ago when his father retired.
Randy's philosophy is to provide a work of art for each customer. He's not satisfied until his customer is happy. He particularly enjoys working with fine antiques, paying homage to elegant lines and proportions of a beautiful piece of furniture while providing more modern comfort.
After living for more than 30 years in South Natick, MA, Randy and his family moved to Cape Cod, where they have summered for many years. Since he travels to his customers on a regular basis, he decided to move his workshop to more convenient location.
